About Me

Léann is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, UKCP-registered Integrative Psychotherapist, and accredited EMDR practitioner with a particular interest in attachment-informed approaches to trauma, relational depth work, and the ways early experience shapes how we feel, relate, and move through the world.

She works integratively, drawing on psychodynamic thinking, attachment theory, and an understanding of how the body and nervous system hold experience. She is interested in what sits underneath presenting difficulties, and in understanding the patterns and ways of relating that once made sense but may no longer be serving the person. The relationship between therapist and client is central to how she works, and sessions are warm and collaborative. Rather than applying a fixed framework, she adapts her approach to each person she works with.

Before retraining as a psychologist, Léann worked in PR and communications. She has a good understanding of the pressures that come with corporate environments and busy professional lives.
